An old hobby renewed

I’m a disabled vet with to much time on my hands so I decided to try scale modeling again. I used to build models as a kid but slowly moved away from it.

I recently got back into it and I must say the model of today are MUCH better quality than in the 70s.

I got admit I don’t see myself visiting this forum or this page very often. Even though I’ve registered every time I try to open a picture and look at it. It says that I cannot perform this action because I’m not a paying customer. I just wanted to form where I could look at pictures and talk about my models, but it seems this one is more about money just like some of the others. Thank you guys and I hope you enjoy your models.

Oh dear.
I don't think I get my annual fee back as I just don't buy enough. But the price is worth it for the camaraderie alone. There is enough going on here to warrant the fee but end of the day it is personal choice. Also - no adverts as there are on other non modelling forums I use.
All the best to Johnny and he should be comforted that the US Vets get more support than we do here across the pond. Semper Fi.

Well, it’s just with other forms that I’ve been on. Don’t seem to get very busy. I’ve posted questions and pictures on other hobby or scale modeling forums and I could wait three months and never get a reply. So I just didn’t wanna pay for that same type of service.
