Jim. Thanks I usually give the Roosters away. That’s neat your Daughter works at a Zoo she’s probably good at what she does. Yes there’s so much bitterness in this world life could be so much worse. People don’t have respect for human life anymore and so full of self. I’m hoping one day soon I can get back to building Millitary Models but that’s not my priority now.

Looks nice with the dusting of snow. Have often considered having chickens but the couple next door have them so we get fresh eggs with out the 'hassle'.
Young roosters are a good eat. A bit of a specialty over here.Comment

Lovely stuff Lee. We’ve only got four ex batts but I find them endlessly fascinating. Just successfully treated our first case of sour crop.....had me worried for a while.Comment

Hi Lee
Hope you're doing ok.
Aren't many young creatures cute. Chicks, puppies, kittens, piglets - the list goes on and on. Not always the case though, my daughter has hand reared a few parrot chicks in her job and early on they are most definitely not cute.

Great to see new life.Comment

Me, I've a soft spot for foals, kids, lambs & calves - nothing quite beats the 'high' of seeing one get up on wobbly legs & get their first suckle (even if it's at 2.30 in the morning & you've just got an overcoat & wellies on - never noticed the cold until afterwards!)Comment

Jim, Gerry. Yes I’ve seen young Calf’s and Goats born it’s just unreal. I wish I could find some Goats cheap then my little farm will be complete again. With my health I’m afraid to raise Cattle again you need to get out of the way quick sometimes I I can’t. 2 more baby chicks were born yesterday evening. I’ll post them later. Thank you guys for stopping by.Comment
