    Baston Car Show.

Hi this morning I went with my son in law to see the Baston Car Show, this year due to it getting so big it was held at Grimsthorpe Castle. Home territory for both of us as I contracted there and he still does.
A beautiful day, and such a well organised show, a lot of hard work had gone into making it .
Lots of classes, from the classic cars to modern super cars, and every thing in between. As we left some guy in a Mclaren was driving in across the grass, how low he could go before he removed some part was both said out aloud by us.

The first ones were of a Daimler powered Armoured Scout Car , looked to be a well loved vehicle. Took these shots of the smoke launchers , and of the drivers hatch, nice to see the radio as well. Note the SMG . Nice touch . Engine detail showing a nightmare to work on .

    Hope you enjoy.

No doubt there were Pete. Only had the phone camera and of course can' t see what the screen sees half the time in the bright light. So didn't take to many.

The armoured car is a Ferret, a Mk. 2 by the looks of it, but it’s hard to say without a good view of the wheels.

.Think your right there , I didn't photo the sign either.
Did recover one years ago when it turned over on an exercise, one of the crew received burns from the batteries .
