        Hi Ian
There's some hidden talent on this forum.
How come there are no spider photos. Amazing, beautiful creatures.

          Here’s some more.

I’ve also started doing a bit of fishing when I’m away, never done it before in my life, bought a £5 rod and got a tin of sweet corn and so far I’ve done quite well, my recorded is 7 fish in 10 mins, it’s quite easy . I don’t have a clue what sort of fish this is, I’ve been told it’s a Rudd or a Roach, apparently from the same family, but one has a down turned mouth, the other has an up turned mouth, this one didn’t look too happy, but that might because of the hook in its mouth

Lovely work John - apparently, we're now getting Mediterranean butterflies visiting the south coast and causing a stir. Nice to see you fishing - must admit that the Mortimer/Whitehouse program has induced a twinge in me.

We are currently in the Loire Valley France - just caught this one in the kitchen ! - Not your usual wasp or hornet ... Cant find it on the net anywhere ! Any ideas ? ( I did let it go - not a hater of any, other than Asian Hornets )

Yum Yum, Hornet under glass. Now there is a delicacy! Would one serve a red or white wine with that? Cheers, Rick H.

This beautiful Dragon Fly payed us a visit back in 2011. It was a good 4" long. I've forgotten what type.

Took this the other week while gardening. Found near a Fuchsia plant where this moth feeds.
