    A useful link for woodworkers

    Hi Guys

thanks to everybody who liked chop-saw bench.

One of the less than enjoyable tasks is trying to work out how to fit all of the wooden sections you need onto the larger sheets you buy from diy stores in a way which minimises waste when you cut them out. Here is a link to a website I found which does all of the hard work for you, and best of all - it's free!

Online panel cutting optimization software. Generate optimized cutting patterns based on the available stock sheets by nesting the required parts.

    Peter, a great program.
I had the full version for work , an absolute money and time saver. Used mainly for 8 x 4 sheets of material, also used it for single lengths of timber to produce cutting lists. Didn't cost that much considering the times I used it, think I had the silver version.

      Hi John

yes is it good - even the free version which is good enough for me. Not inly has it saved me time, but also tweak some plans so they can fit the stndard sheets.
