As with the Airfix , this has now had a panel line wash and a couple of coats of matt.

This has now had a bit of sooty brown exhaust staining and Ive been sorting the guns . I used brass tube for the cannons and guns which I cut off early in the build . While I was at it with the brass I made the pitot .

Very nice Tony ? changing the gun barrels and pitot tube really enhances them.

As with the Airfix its time for all the last little bits to go on . Eduard supplied the DF loop and Morane antenna on the PE fret but they just dont look realistic - too flat, so they were scratched from fuse wire and a wooden stirring stick

ID:	1249893 Got the DF loop , whip aerial ( toothbrush bristle ) and Morane antenna fitted now . The step was made from wire bent to shape as I broke the plastic kit one cleaning it up . There was one supplied on the etched fret but like the antennae it just looked too flat . Next up fitting the canopy and aerial wire . The aerial wire on unblown canopies like this was held in tension whatever the position of the canopy - passing through the canopy on rollers .

Canopy is now on and aerial wire fitted , so this is now finished. Its been a lovely build , for the £15 odd quid I paid its an absolute bargain with everything you need in the one box . A bonus too , the spare decals allowed me to give the Airfix kit a more interesting scheme . Heres a few to top off this thread and I’ll put a completed one on later. Cheers tony
