Nick's 1/72 Frog FW190A4 - 1959 tooling - for Alan G

I was a little worried at the start as to how this one would turn out as its such an old kit and I made no attempt to modernise it apart from giving it some nice new decals and replacement gun barrels and pitot from aluminium tube and wire (a little over scale, I know). Paints used were a mix of MRP, AK Real Colour and SMS depending on what was to hand or easily available. Overall, I'm quite happy with how this has turned out and I hope Alan would have given it a 'like' had he still been with us.

Very nice indeed. Nice mottling - that's not easy to do. Alan would definitely given a thumbs up to this resurrected geriatric kit.
