Well this turned up in the post office today, so I guess I am in. Just hope we find and move into a new house before the New Year.

I've had a quick look in the box and it looks pretty good. Its got a good amount of detail, the parts look clean and there are even three resin pilot figures in the box!

Wow!! Very nice Ian
Three figures...? What kind of plane is it? A bombardier?
Ahhh...and remember, don't touch the kit and the sprues until 2015 O_o
SorryI cannot resist try to imitate you as a moderator :P :P :P

Ah well you see Polux, I dont know what the figures are as I have not unwrapped them. I think that they are just three different pilots. They're all standing.
So I guess that they will not be all Airfix kits in the sig.

Cough.......
Just read all this thread again to prove i'm not going mad lol
Is this, or is this not going to be a 1/24 and larger scale build?
Just found something i really love.... but it's 1/18 scale! lolComment

I will be doing one of these or maybe both as they were cheap and cheerful or I may just go mad at Telford but doubt it as I've never done this scale before might be best to see how my 1st attempt turns out.

Well its fine by me Tone, 1/24 or larger that is. Fancied the Mossie as well but think I would have a problem finding a place to show it off. Still early days yet.
I will let Polux have the final call on "other scales" bigger than 1/24. I could also be tempted by a couple of WWI birds in silly big scales.... 1/8.... Yikes!

Yep!!
1/24 or bigger is my idea Tone
Free topic and all eras.
Out of box, with aftermarket items or with your own scratch build pieces....
A 1/24 plane is not usual, so, we have a good oportunity to build and interesting subject. Personally I would like each thread has a "little" text or history about the model...but the final decision will depend of every member.
Ian, I'm with you! There are some beautiful WWI planes at large scale....I have doubts with my Thypoon nowI have ever in mind the Bleriot
