I've put mine in the loft - out of the way, and the box is flipping huge, it's getting in the way.

I have the luxury of several I can do but these resin models are taking up too much time , I want to start one but if I do I know my mojo will take a big drop so I'm finishing what I've got before I start one well I'll do little 1/72 stuff to keep my mojo going

But yeah I'm really itching to go , January can't come quick enough

I am sure we can all find loads of other things to do while we wait. I for example have had a better look in the box and just ordered a few after market bits.... :-/

Then there are things like paints and decals to get sorted.

I also had a look at the three figures included in the box.... Two in flight suits and one in fatigues. As the kit is of a tropical unit, I was amused that not one of them is in tropical uniform.

Right off to find a harness set...

              Yep friends!!

Can I ask which is your intention on this SSIG?

Explain....you will start it on January or during the year...?

My first idea was to start to build on the first or second trimester, but after I have saw that I need three months to build the Stuka.....well, the calculator says me I will need five or six months for the Thypoon sure. She has the double of details O_o

And I have another "big" project as well.....Argggghhh

I'm hoping to start in January and I want to do the trumpy hurricane but that depends on what I actually buy at Telford so my options are open at the moment

I may have a go at this build with this kit:

I got a question though. Has anyone in the world ever built one of these, or seen one built, or heard about a build or even heard rumours of one being built?

I wanted to find out what the build and accuracy is like, but the only references I've managed to find are for the IIC version.

I have a spare 1/24 PE Sutton Harness (MDC Model 24002) if anyone has a use for one in this build.

I might have a go at this if i can find the right aircraft to build

I'm spoilt for choice now, have a Mustang, Spitfire and a Hurricane, I may even grab a Typhoon at Telford if the price is right

My doubt is between the Typhoon or a different model (wwI)

Anyway I'm glad with this SIG, seems there will be some members and a different range of builds

I think you will be ok with that Gern.
