The idea of running a SIG build has been batted around awhile ago, and a little project I will be starting soon got me thinking it could be an interesting SIG.
The Idea was Then and Now; My interest of point being I have an EE Lightning and a Tonka, both of which where Fire-birds; 56squadron, hence the Then and now.
In an attempt to keep things sort of in the same area, I will go as far as saying any two aircraft, flown by the same squadron with at LEAST 20 years between them. It could be the first plane they had and the last..
At the rate squadrons are getting axed, it might be an idea to get going while there are still some to choose from.
As for a time line, I would suggest six months build time with a start day the first of march.
So any one fancy signing up?
Comments and suggestions welcome but this is an aircraft build. If the idea is good enough maybe the next one could be the same idea but different, say armour or figures....
I am aware that Graham is a busy man and John has also more than enough on his plate, so if its OK with them, I will step up to the wicket and try to hold things together on this one if there is no objection, and if some one else wants to help out even better!
