"And so the nit picking begins"

"And so for the sake of killing any further frivolity."

Sorry, but that's a bit strong for what was a valid point that needed clarifying, and I'm sorry for the frivolity. I should have known better!

Count me in for the helicoptors and non tracked armour as I have some in the stash, motorbike haven't build one for years so I'll get one before that starts. Something alive not sure about that one will need some thinking time. Not really gone in for GB's or SIG's before but defo will have a go this year.

        Hi Ian!

Sorry for ask....the first GB 2013 will be the non tracked armour, isn't it? Or another?

We can start to search models, and soon publish the thread?

        Thanks

So am I. It might take me until the fourth quarter of next year to finish it.

Oh, hang on! Does it have to be a kit?

Right then. I have made the forums FOR ALL the GB's for the 2013 season.

The forums that are not active are locked so you cant post in them until the time comes for that build. :-P

That is a bloody good question Ole... It is a vehicle. Is it Armoured...Well its got anti mine Armour on the bottom and removable ballistic armour for the sides. So it is I s'pose Armoured. Looks a blast to belt around in.

Well its armoured so yes. I had to have a look at the specs. for one to find out though. A bit borderline but it is armoured, just not the way you would normally picture an armoured car to look like.

I'm all set for the helicopter build in the next GB! Got hold of a nice little Bell 47 Sioux and a Bell UH-1 Iroquois. Hope the stars align for time to build them when the time comes!

I'm going to join GB in helicopter build, but I need your help. Never build a helicopter apart from obvious Apache years ago. Who is the best manufacturer if it comes to helicopters?

The Hasegawa kits are good but rather expensive. The new kits from Airfix, the Lynx was a great kit and builds well. I am going to get the Merlin as well but a bit pricy. (rather big too).

The Revell Lynx in 1/32 is also a great kit at a good price. They have also just released that in a navy version as well.

Hear that the Wessex is pretty good as well.
