Hey Andrew, Couldn't find the F22, it had disappeared, but I found this instead.

It's pound shop fodder, so will require detailing plus decals.

Ekk ! don't know how I'm going to do this but should be fun.

And if I cock it up it's no real loss.

I'll let you know how I get on.

    Tony.

looks great, i have not done much to mine yet, finding out that kids toy plastic is a lot harder to work on than model kits.must be made tougher to stop kids destroying them in five minutes. .

Hi Gent's, This is a Remco 727-200 the scale is unknown I've been working on it on and off for a few years. the toy came out in the early 60's and it was powered by four D size battery's and would move under it's own power it also had jet sound. the toy works as new I have converted it to a FED/EX cargo carrer, I have added landing lights port and starbord wing lights rotating becon lights and nav strobe timed to the real 727-100 I scratch built all the glass work and cut all of groves for the flaps there are a few more parts to make. this is her final prime to check for any inperfections. Regards Glenn

looks brilliant glenn, i have virtually ground to a halt with mine after realising it is a lot harder to do than i thought but it still in the corner on the bench. plenty of work to do on it yet but it is a wierd type of plastic. will get there in the end.you have done a really great job on yours.

Most of the time these toys are missing parts or broken. I was lucky all I was missing was the battrey door very hard to find and if you do find one your going to pay top dollar for it, so I made mine.I molded the door using 3/16 black lexsan over a block of wood that I shaped to match the conture of the body then cut to fit. looking great glenn well done, cannot wait to see her finished.. i have had a calamity with mine which ultimatly means it is going in the bin,one of the wings was bent upwards(presumably by the child that owned it before me) so i put it in front of a heated for a few minutes to warm it up so as to bend it down a bit.after five minutes it was not warm so i turned the heater up and went to make myself a cup of tea...the rest you can guess for yourself. now looking for something else to convert

thanks but it would take more than a new wing.
