    Coming along nicely Scott.

That Bridge looks like it could be a pain in the rear to get glued up! The figures from Preiser, are they soft pvc or hard plastic?

Hi Ian they are hard plastic but the detail on them are very good.

Cracking model so far Scott, and loads of bits yet to do!

This is going to be one great project and I'm sure it will be superb when finished...

Nice one Scott, I have an avid aversion to those vinyl figures. A paint to clean up and almost as bad to paint!

Ron, are you not going to join in the fun this time?

I can't believe how real that engine block looks on page 1. Very impressed with that top cover. How did you get the oily blend so accurate if you don't mind me asking?

Hi Rob i used artists oil paints mixed with turps into three washes the first is black and brushed all over the engine then left to dry, the second was burnt sienna and allowed to dry the third was burnt umber. hope this is helpful.

Stunning, simply stunning. Did you paint the wood on the bridge? Soooooooo realistic! Great job.

The wood is easy you paint a base coat of Tamiya XF57 Buff then you brush it over with a wash od burnt umber oil paint and allow to dry.
