Hi andy ive been watching this thread from the start and im well impressed with the rebuilding of the wing, fantastic skills! Its looking great now, shame about the decals, speaking of which- ive got some old esci decals for a blenheim with the roundels you need, they are old but they should be ok with plenty of soaking, send me a pm with your address and you can gladly have them , cheers tony

First of all, many thanks to Tony for the decals. In the end I've found that the 63" decals from Modeldecal sheet 102 match the box art (though they are a couple of scale inches bigger in diameter than those originally supplied) and I've gone with them. They are superb and have had no trouble conforming with the help of set/sol. There has also been an advance on the overall build, as can be seen in the pic. Nearly there now.

Finished :abouttime:! The result can be seen in the completed section.

Many thanks to everybody who offered encouragement - I doubt it would have been finished otherwise. Would I do it again? No, there's too much work for not enough detail (I understand the MPM kit is better) though I do like the undercarriage. Next time it will be the Classic Airframes 1/48 example.

          Cheers
