    Centurion3RTR's "Warrior MCV"

I had three models in my stash that came under "Modern Armour", but when Ian (Ian M) answered Ron (Spanner570)

I believe that the original concept was AFTER WWII, 'till today. Leave a lot of scope, so the more modern the better I s'pose
i was trouble. I didn't have three modern i had more, lots more. So this is what came out of the stash (well, what i could get my hands on easily), the Warrior MCV from Academy.

Roll on the 1st of July.

    Have fun, John

Thanks fellas, the wife has the model so i can't start it yet lol.

@ Ron. Don't know if it'll be on a diorama, but i do have a very nice bit of wood it may sit on. Thinking about it, it'll look great on it.

@ Andy. It is a nice looking kit out of the box, don't think i'll get any PE for it though. Which one you doin' desert or NATO? I'm going desert only because i have the paint mixed after i build a Chally lol.

            Have fun, John

Hi all, reet Colin, diorama. I think it with be part of one lol. I'm working on something at the mo that may join it, but it's all hush hush. My main concern is space and where to but it when it's finished, but if i do a good job and the wife likes it then we'll make the room for the dio.

@ Jeff. Thanks mate, got that site in my favorites. I have the New Vanguard's book on the Warrior too. Tell you what though, the Academy Warrior is a nice kit but it's a pity there's no figures. WE NEED MORE BRITISH FIGURES, are you listening you big modelling companies.

@ Ole. I think you could be right lol.

                    Have fun, John

Just to let you know, i've made a start on the Warrior. Lower hull is built up but needed to be straighten as it was a little warped, photos to follow later.

                      Have fun, John

I'm off to a good start, the back door is on and all the parts fitted. The infantry phone cable on the door was wrapped with wire and should look ok when painted. The suspension is on and just waiting for the wheels, not much to look at the moment but the fun hasn't started yet lol. I'm bound run into something along the way that'll cause trouble later.
