So do I go for the Gepard, as I have not seen one of those built, or one of the others...

I will say M88 (recovery tank)!!!

Uffff....All the variety of possibilities!!! Snow, mud, old tanks or remains, blocked roads!!! The diorama who accompanies the tank will be the key!!

But the Gepard is nice too...

          Good luck with it!!

Sorry Polux I don't do Diorama. Take up way to much room ;-)

A simple base is about my limit.

I like the look of the recovery tank or the Gepard. Both unusual looking machines.

It's an hard one Ian, but yes the Gepard would be nice to see built up. Not see one yet, it's aways been in the box unbuilt.

                    Have fun, John

Some great kits you have there Ian.

                      I have no modern kits.

Is the Gepard a flak leopard?

That Tamiya leopard looks appealing, I did build a leopard but it was hobby boss and the fit was real bad.

                      Will you blog the Gepard?

Hi Aaron, yes it is the flak tank.

As its the Group build you can expect a good few pictures of the build.

"Now not a lot of people know this but do you know that the gun and tracking radar is so quick they it can be used to shoot down artillery shells with...."

I've just had a shufty on t'interweb and couldn't see anything related to "metal", "Steel" or "aftermarket" barrels.

There's a couple of posts on other (inferior ) modeling sites where members state there aren't any available for this model, this was a couple of years ago though, so they may have introduced them.

                              I tried and failed mate
