Took a while to mask all those wheels I bet.

      Good finish on them.

          Hi friends!!

          Thanks for the comments

Well.....here I go, the super "pinkie" tip

Some time ago I was on my stationer's looking for some pencils and others, and found this.....

          Mmmmm.....have an idea!!!! o_O

Anyway, I think there is a special one for the modelers, but not sure.

It's really easy to use and all the wheels have been painted in less than an hour...... :P

          Hope this help!!!! Happy modelling!!!

Great idea Polux! Damn why didn't i think of that! But a sheet of plasticard, drilled our with various sized road wheels for Axis & Allied tanks... that's an idea!

The difference between every hole is only 1mm, goes perfect for all kind of wheels as you can see

Thanks! Glad to help all you

Have a question....I start to paint the Sherman, and on the colour reference says "Tan". Ok! I have a bottle of Tan...but looks quite a "light" colour....anyone know if is the correct one?

I suppose with the washes and other effects will change....but I'm afraid

                      Cheers

                        Hi Polux,

The answer here and some interesting thoughts here.

Info on specific color and mixes here.

I prefer going for a lighter shade for 2 reasons; firstly the smaller the scale, the lighter any colour would appear to be, and secondly I always find adding the gloss coat slightly darkens the look of the paint.

I would trust the colour mixes given by Mike Starmer. He knows what he is talking about.

If you dont fancy mixing there is this place that has done the work for us..http://trackpads.co.uk/swsshop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2

I like them and tanktrack has also used them and thinks they are pretty good.

Let me guess... Best part will be the chipping-chopping?
