Just got to finish the lightning before i start on this one.

due to chances of the house sale going through Im trying to keep to one build at a time..

I have not forgotten. maybe ill put some sprue shots upin the near future.

Just splashed a wash on the lightning so while that dries I took some sprue shots of the Grant.

Still in the bags as I didn't want to start loosing bits!

The detail is pretty good and there is an interior Aaron. That will be fun. The turret has a nice cast effect to the plastic- 'orrible rubber band tracks though. Might see if I can find some better ones...

My Sherman has a rubber tracks too, I don't know exactly if I will change them, like all the Sherman ones, are very simple.... O_o

if this is any thing like the Academy Sherman it will go together extremely nicely

when i did my Shermanski the other year i used the rubber tracks with no probs, better than some i can think of

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no ones been

Cheers Paul. The rubber bands look OK I just don't like them that much. A pain to paint and a pain to pose... Each there own.

Right then. Lightning is in the hanger and time for the next victim.

Wise move or not, I have assembled the boggies before painting the wheels. time will tell.

Made a start on the internals as well. I wonder if there is a resin engine to be had somewhere....Well it is a SIG after all.

                          Cheers Polux.

Got a bit more stuck together today, fast getting to the point where I will have to paint some thing soon before I can proceed.

Take good time with the top hull. Each plate is a separate piece and but joined. The destuctions say to put the hatches on here, but then we wont be able to see inside will we!

Here is the inside so far, LOTS more to go in there yet, but need to paint the floor first.

And to wrap up for now, a quick peek at the wheel units with out the clamps...

                            I'm sad.....on my kit there aren't interiors

That is why there are people that sell them Polux... ;-)

There is a lot of detail missing, all the rivets shown on the outside of the hull are not depicted at all on the inside....Yet.
