Ok then ... its not in the bin, and i didn't throw anything out my pram !!!!

I've used balsa to fill the neccessary areas, this gave the problem that it would swell when painted, this i've over come by just sanding the balsa to shape and then smearing it with superglue to seal the surface and this would take a light sanding with wet and dry to give an acceptable finish for acrylic paint.

some areas have had a light spray with a car primer, or a coat of acrylic to show up any flaws, it's till rough and needs a bit of filler here and there but i'm happy with the general look.

      Wot da ya fink?????

Colin I am finking that I will go to a darkened room to have a fink about finking. I am finking is this ingenuity or something other than ingenuity that is what I am finking. Finking you must be having a great deal of fun there.

How is that for finking ! This has got to be a first Colin !

Cool! That is so close to how I was going to paint my Meteor... Sort of desert storm on steroids.

Its looking good Colin and I cant wait to see those floats.

I would question who is on steroids here Ian.

If this had been me Colin I would have giggled my way through the making of this.

Not being rude Colin at all as I think it is very clever but I have had a real laugh. I thank you for that.

Look forward to the floats. Then what is next ?

Had a weekend off modeling, for a very good reason though .................

Daughter lost her last name and we gained a son-in-law

I present Mr & Mrs Brewin, long may they be happy

Back to the job in hand .......

Have eventually found a suitable component for the floats, it's already shaped in an acceptable fashion and wont take too much to improvise, overcome and adapt (heartbreak ridge flashback there)

                                And the winner is .........
