I just can not wait for this Colin !!!!!!!!!!

Nice picture of your daughter & her man. I bet it was a great day as I remember they were.

Is your son-in-law a model maker or just sane ?

Congrats on the happy day, oh father of the bride speech etc - hope it all went well.

Well as you've created a bi plane BF110 in Korean markings, and on floats, how about some Rocket Assisted Take Off Gear as well. Or is that really just going too far ?

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. wishing them a long and happy marriage.

You know Colin that bi-plane somehow looks weirdly right, and can't wait to see how the toothbrush floats come out.

        I'm right enjoying this, it's so.......different/strange? Delete as appropriate.:emo6::grinball1:

little update without piccies at the mo, had a busy week what with weddings and reptiley things happening.

I got the floats sorted and they look "OK"

Gave the plane a coat of hairspray (thin acrylic varnish in effect) so the decals had a good base (as i often do with armour) and the Revel flat black "bled" into the brown and white..... strange? so it needed a good touch up ... it looks a little patch-work in places but not too bad, the nice korean decals that were orignally on it have sadly gone to the great bin in the sky.

Got other decals added now, not brilliant, not as authentic, but satisfactory.

Have an idea for a very simple, slightly humorous, diorama so i'll get it completed before posting images.

yeah ... not quite the right word choice from me there eh Tony ?... heh heh

I mean that some of the decal letters and numbers are now german, where-as they were all Korean beforehand.

sorry late reply Colin, been busy with daughter and son-in-law visiting.

I don't use an airbrush (to spray varnish/laquer) so i use cheap hairspray on some models to give a finish for the decals, i suppose i could handbrush "klear" but at 30p a can the hairspray is better for me and gives a better finish in my opinion.

at the end of the day hairspray is just an acrylic laquer, all be it with a bit of a smell

Colin been organising a Wedding Fayre & not had the time to browse.

But now back & no finished BF110 with toothbrush runners ?

I am deflated & need stimulating. When does the day come for the big event Colin.

I've been entertaining my newly married daughter and son-in-law for the last week so no modeling has been done I'm afraid. back on it tomorrow Laurie.
