Ian i like the dozer blade idea it is a good one and different, if you have the individual links go with them, if not then the vinyl bands the reactive armour will be nice if it fits with the dozer blade.
Well time for an up date. I must confess that I forgot to take in progress pictures, since the last batch. To get to the point, I had a desk top covered in bits of tank, the hull was assembled as was the turret and they got painted. erm Green. well three shades of green actually.
The RPG armour and other small bits; fire extinguishers, rear views, etc where painted off the kit.
While searching for some reference photos, I stumbled across some of the actual tank that I was building, bonus!
I need to: Do a bit of exhaust staining and tidy up the weathering a bit before I put a flat coat down to take the shine off the few decals there are and lock the 'sand' down. Put on the antenna and add the bar armour.
I need to get hold of a couple of British tankers! Will I be able to get away with modern US and paint them up? The idea of buying them from Accurate Armour hurts my wallet just thinking about it.
Looking good Ian , nice to see a different version most people go for the desert version , saying that I love a desert camo scheme above anything but your build is looking very nice mate .
