    completed challenger challenge phalinmegob

right guys,i am posting this as completed as i have built it to the best of my current ability and in the fear that if play around on practicing my weathering i am going to make a worse mess.

the scenario is a tank in bosnia in 1996ish that has taken a wrong turn and ended up in a back country road at a local fruit and veg sellers stall and is about to ask directions.quite proud of it myself and even though i know that there are quite a few mistakes, i feel i am improving greatly with every model i build, which is down to a lot of help from you guys so thanks a lot.

    all comments welcomed.

Cracking job Andrew, you certainly are getting to grips with this modelling lark and no mistake!

I do like dioramas that tell a good story with plenty to look at and your model has it with loads to spare.....

    Very well done,

    Cheers,

    Ron

Nice use of the MiniArt building, this particular one usually gets left empty or with an old cart or something. You have brought the whole thing to life by making it a market, very clever. I like the whole story as the people and produce are dwarfed by the metal monster, you can almost hear the squeak of the tracks and the roar of the engine as it passes so close to these people just wanting to get on with their lives.

Great piece of modelling, very good use of all the components and it does tell a story. Job done mate.

I agree, nicely done. It's not just a collection of models but a proper diorama. You've captured a moment in time,I wonder how they are going to get the tank out of there!.

                      Cheers

Brilliant work, don't think you need to play with the weathering - looking good!

I can hear the engine ticking away, the gulp as the boss realises he ain't where he should be and the villagers rolling their eyes at the poor lost sods!!

See, what was all that worring about. You have made a bloody good job of that.

                              Very nice indeed.
