Here are the finished exhausts.I gave the insides a brown wash. Then dry brushed chrome followed by graphite powder on the outside.I tried a bit of Tamiya clear blue on the ring forward of the nozzles or turkey feathers as they are known. But it didnt give the effect I was after.so I had to re spray it.Next stage is to decal the model. Thanks again Polux.

I'm currently applying the decals. There are a lot of small stencils so it will take a few sessions to get them all on.I read a review of this kit where the reviewer said as soon as the decals were on they stuck to the model and couldn't be moved.I brushed Micro Set on the model first and have had no trouble moving them into position. However,They don't want to pull down into the engraved panel lines.ive tried a few applications of Micro Sol but am still having trouble.Going to put some on with Klear floor polish and see if that works better.

They are looking good Dave. I hope you don't mind me saying when I did them I used humbrol decal fix and had the same problem. I then switched to revell decal soft and that seemed to do the trick. could be my niavity about decal products but hey.

I'm having 'fun' trying to attach all the pylons and other sticky out bits at the moment.Scraping the paint back to bare plastic without damaging the decals is a bit tricky. The three pylons that go on the conformal tanks don't have positive locating points.Ive put those on with superglue gel.Gives me a little time to get them in the right position.Think I will have a cup of tea before doing the other side.
