papa 695 Lancaster down

Hi all got this for a birthday prezzy so i'm going to use the Lancaster out of it The Lancaster's going to be shot down in a field ( think this theme may come up a lot in this GB ) After a successful bombing raid so at least theres some plane left

I was thinking of doing this first Showing a crash at an air show. If i have time i may still do it

Nice one Ian, but you're not going to trash a perfectly good model....are you?lol

The Sukhoi would be easy to do, just get a grassy dio. base and empty the contents of the box onto it. No need to glue anything together....Job done!

    Cheers,

    Ron

I would off gone for the Lancaster as well. The thought of making and painting 10000 figures for the crowd at an air-show would drive me nuts!

Joking aside I can also envisage a few crashed aeroplanes turning up in this SIG.

I will be watching this one go down.......get it, go down. crash, oh never mind.

you'll do it Ian. plenty of scope on a crashed lanc to work on.

looking forwards to seeing it come together

Hi all started it today Because its a crashed Lancaster and part of the inside will be seen, I started to put the framework on started by marking where the spars go in pencil

Then the frame spars got the cross spars to put on but its a start

Good old Airfix, Plenty of detail inside the cockpit " NOT "

Looks alot better with the decals in Ha Ha Ha

And the rest of the inside detail

All in all i think this kit NEEDS crashing
