That's brilliant Adrian! The Dakota is excellent & the figures are so well painted - your eyes must have been begging for mercy!

A fitting tribute to brave chaps.

      Hi Adrian

The para address by Ike turned out perfectly - great work!

Where did you get the paras?

      Excellent stuff 5 *s

Brilliant job Adrian. It's all great but it's strange how small details stand out, for me the canvas roof on the truck is very effective.

Thanks all for the great comments, I'm glad you all like it. I've just spotted that Ike has a gap in the rear of his trousers and his hair isn't actually painted !!! haha oh well luckily I made it so all the figures are removable as they are on metal pins.

The roof of the truck was just old fashioned base coat, pour on a wash and then dry brush, simple but it worked out alright.

The kit should have come with 9 Para's but there were only six in it when I got it home, another member of our club had then same kit and wasn't going to use his figure so I swapped mechanic's for Para's, I had intended to do double the amount of Para's but couldn't source any more in the same scale, Tamiya's as I posted else where are much smaller.

Anyway, I hope it gets space at Telford as I really want people to see it

That is great Adrian. Must be a good size as well. Good job on all the figures!
