springs were for sissies in them days i think,same as parachutes lol,seen the breakages though once painted will look ok

Thanks Ole yes with a bit of paint and weathering i should be able to hide the broken parts

looks a nice simple chassis layout, those little breakages won't be an issue when painted and weathered up a bit as You and Ole have said.
