Thanks guys. I got one of the story ideas when I first bought the bug about three years ago, the other came to me during the build. Just gotta wait and see if anyone else can suss them out!

No takers for the stories then?

I'm toying with the idea of printing these out and adding them as alternate titles. Here's the first one:

‘I’m sorry about the bumper Frank, it was an accident. I only brushed against it.’

‘I know that KayTee, but it was only shipped dirtside this morning!’

‘I wanted to ask you about that Frank. Does this new flitter of yours mean no more piggyback?’

I didn't see the story question Gern but I bet that arachnid is thinking

'Whos the green bird ?, that's just weird !"

            OK. Last bit of this.

I promised two stories - or rather one story and a proof. You've already found out how the bumper got broke on the scout.

Here's the caption for the proof:

‘Good afternoon Frank. What are you doing with KayTee?’

‘Hello ladies. I’m trying to make sure he doesn’t get shot at again.’

‘Oh that’s good, but aren’t you supposed to paint all of the area between the pieces of tape?’

            And what have I proved?

It doesn't matter who or where you are, or what the object is that you're painting, someone will ALWAYS come along and tell you:

            "You've missed a bit!".

I was sure I commented on this but obviously it must be my age now I'm officially old.

I like how this all came together, and considering the different scales it looks natural enough.

It looks like you had fun with it and I can see you becoming a diorama addict from now on.

And those ''back-stories'' ... Creative certainly .... But what does go on in that brain of yours?

Thanks Col. You're right about the fun. I really enjoyed the build and all the new things I tried - even though some didn't work.

All sorts of stuff Col. Unfortunately, 99% of it is useless!

PS I don't think that 50 counts as old around here - certainly not in my mind. Give it another 10 years, then you can start rabitting on about being old!

"I really do like that blue colour. Sweetie, do me a favour? When you have finished painting that leg, can you touch up my pouch 'cos I'm going out tonight and I want it to look bigger than it is".....

So speaks the cross dresser with the Afro wig.

Great build Dave.......One total nutter for sure....Big, big doodah coming your way!

                          Thanks Ron.

You said in an earlier post you liked the colours I chose. Blue, Pink and Lime Green (Vallejo Model Colours 70844; 70835 and 70827 respectively)? They came in a job lot of paints - an' I can't see me usin' 'em on anythin' else!

I got that little Zvezda cannon kit to finish and then it's back to my Tiger. I haven't forgotten - and I need to get it done or it'll cost me a fortune in Lemon Slices at Cosford!

                            My first Dave would be:

"Hey Mr - How did you reach to paint All that way up there without a ladder"?

                            And my second would be:

"Can i have ago on your bike thingy please" ?

                            Sorry mate, couldn't resist.
