One or two bits from my stash to go with this dio.

The plan is to have it undergoing an engine overhaul (well thats the plan).

Ok now the Pinkie's finnished i will crack on with this one.

I am going to try and put lighting along the pontoons but im not sure how best to wire it ("ie" + to - or - to - /+ to +) if i put them pos to neg they look very dim but look brighter if i run them pos to pos neg to neg.

I will be having about 8-10 lights 12v running off a scalextric power unit.

Any help on this subject would be appreciated.

If they are filament bulbs, if you do them in series; +/-/+/-/+/- etc, if one goes dead they all will. (X-mas lights syndrome) By doing them Parallel only the bulb that dies will go out.

They will be brighter as all the lamps will get 12v. the other way the current is 'diluted' by each lamp it passes through.

So i have sprayed the base that came with the kit, it is sprayed the same colour as my jag but using black primer insted of white.
