    Thanks Doug, I've heard that Academy decals can be difficult, so I'll be extra careful!

    Aaron, the cockpit will be closed as the plan is to pose it ' in flight ' which is why I didn't bother too much with detailing the office.

    Ha! Jason, with your skills I can see you doing great things in 1/72

    Joe, the detail in the kit easily beats the Airfix new-tool Spits. You know the little circular covers along the front of the wings? Airfix have these

    just as circles, whereas Academy show the fixings

    So, a little update ...

    Fuselage is joined to the wings. Everything fits well - I did mid-align the fuse & ended up doing a lot of filling & sanding Pilot is in

      Forgot to stop & take pictures!

      Camo done, gloss coat & decals done. The Academy decals went on great, dried out like prunes on the roundels ( so no close-ups of them!
