    Dave's 1/48th Airfix Harrier GR3

The obligatory box and sprue shots before starting, picked up in TK Maxx for £9.99.

This is bit of a departure for me as I don't usually build jets. I will build the No1 squadron version but sat on the ground rather than flying and I will also not be rescribing the aircraft.

Made a start on this now, cockpit done and all buttoned up, left a bit of a gap on top in front of the cockpit that will need some filler.

A little more done, as this will be sat on the deck I have opened the flaps on the top. Bit of sanding work to do. Hopefully things will speed up a little bit now or the build will be over before I'm done. I don't know how some of you gents (and ladies) are so quick.

Nicely done so far Dave. Good to see the engine intake flaps opened.

Okay, I have to admit to a complete failure on this one, I've managed to give it a coat of primer and then work interfered......... Need to find time to get back to work on this kit.

Keep at it when you can Dave, you won't be the first or the last to complete a late group build entry.

Finally managed to find time to finish this off. Just made it one month late.

                Not my best effort.
