Dave's Revell 1:72 T90 MBT

Stepping out of my comfort zone on this as I mainly build cars, aircraft and figures and this is a tank with tracks and lots of wheels. The sprues are packed with parts and the detail looks to be very good.

    Photo time

    Photo one the box.

    Now for the sprues

Think I'm in for wheelie good fun (sorry bad pun just couldn't help myself)

    The instructions

Some forty steps to work through that should keep me quiet for a while!!

    The decals

I'll start this soon but as I have a stinking rotten cold at the moment so will get that out of the way first.

    Regards

These Revell kits build into nice models. the Stug in my resting Tankies diorama is a Revell kit.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.

I had a look online to see if there were any extras for this kit and I found this.

And thought for a couple of quid it was worth a punt.

Now having made the kit barrel I'm not sure which to use.

The kit barrel is shorter, still not sure.

Anyway I've made a start got all the wheels done just need to clean them up and then it's track time.

              Another update....

Construction completed, it will need a bit of filler here and there but on the whole I have got to say for such a small scale there was a lot of parts and it all went together very nicely.

              Pics.

I'm still not sure which to use the kit barrel or the turned barrel

              With the kit barrel.

              Or

              With the turned barrel

Patrick. it truly is a good kit if you build one take your time, as there are loads and I mean loads of parts, just to build the turret takes 22 stages. Be careful with the tracks as you will need to bend them.

Other than that yeah get one.

                  As for the barrel "noted"

Nice work so far David. I'd go for the metal barrel too.
