Tony's Revell Panzer IV Ausf. H

I've had this for a while, waiting for an excuse to have a go with it.

Nice, crisp moulding - good thing too as there are lots of tiny parts. I think I'll do a winter camo scheme - mostly because it's easier than the mottle!

If I win the Ebay auction, I might be doing this one as well Tony!

Coming along nicely. The good thing about these armour builds is you get it to look like a tank quite quickly, whereas with a plane there's a lot to do before you get the fuselage together and the wings on. Everything is primed, including many tiny, fiddly bits that I prefer to do on the sprue.

That's looking very good Tony. Agree with the comments regarding how quickly the come together initially. It's motivating to see a tank take shape.

I made some more progress, including the mind-numbing Revell track links. They're on now, after a lot of fiddling. Gator's Grip is great for this, as it doesn't set immediately and you can undo any slight cock-ups before it's too late. The hull is not yet glued to the chassis, there's a bit more painting to be done first.

The only issue for me is whether or not to add the Schurzen. I know I should, as they would have been fitted, but I like the look of the naked Panzer IV. What do you think?

I prefer the look of it with the schurzen tony. If you decide against using them, do still add the rails for authenticity.
