Hi all. Not too much to report, but the wings are on!!! I've noticed there's a bit of clean up on just about everything, but I'm guessing that might be to do with the softness of the plastic.

Engines are just about there and should be going on soon. They,be needed a tad of filler on the undersides, but nothing major. That will be the last of the large parts, it'll be onto the fiddly stuff next...

        Cheers, Neil

Looking good. I built the old Airfix Lanc' years ago. It's quite interesting to see how totally different this new mould is.

You're not wrong Joe, and funny you should mention that Colin....

Now somehow or other I managed to have lost one of the wing to engine filler parts. However, I luckily have the old Airfix version hiding in the loft, so its donated its upper starboard wing to the cause. A little cutting and sanding and it seems to have come out OK.

Started work on the turrets and as you can see have treated it to a set of resin barrels. The kit parts are actually OK, maybe being slightly oversize is the worst you can say about them.

I think a coat of primer is due, but I'll better get my finger out and get the crew done!!!!

              Cheers, Neil

Well, crew done. Took a bit longer than planned, and I ended up ditching the Airfix crew and getting a Revell set. So in the end, most of the figures are a mix of modified standard pilots and Revell bits and pieces.

                Masking and paint next...

Hi all. Firstly, apologies for the lack of posts and progress, but a sudden and unexpected career change kinda forced all model making activities onto the back burner for a while. However, things are now sorted and the Lanc is complete, though not quite how I was planning.

I've included a few teaser pics here, but will post completed shots in the "Finished" section.

Thanks to those who have followed, and apologies again.

                    Cheers, Neil
