    so heres my entry for this GB


    Airfix 1/72 BAC Canberra B(1) 6


    According to Scalemates this was new tool in 1972 and this is a boxing from 1983


    im hoping its all there as i was given this a long time ago, decals look ok

                  the grey came out a little too dark, miscalculation of my own fault but cant do much about it now


                  decals went on great...thought i would have some problems since they are around 25+ years old


                  next step is a matt coat all over then i can do final assembly

                    Nice work Paul. The grey isn't too much darker than it should be in those photos. Looks sharp with the roundels on.

                        cant beleive i added loads of weight in the nose, i even left out the crew since you couldnt see them and filled it with plasticine and .44 lead balls......and its still a tail sitter!!! lol.....must be well known for it since Airfix even include a jack to stick under the tail


                        thoroughly enjoyed doing this to be honest, im getting a liking for doing really old kits, nostalgia i guess
