Using some nail art beads i have tried to give a studded look to the side of the seat as it looked plain i have attached them with a dab of super glue and then used a silver sharpie for quickness.
Should have alot more done by this afternoon/evening so keep your eyes peeled!

As you can see the the bike is all put together wired etc.. I replaced the rear carrier for the takegawa option part as this one looks more realistic and blends in better. The engine has has a black wash where necessary to knock back the chrome to give it a used look.
I will be making a base today for this so watch this space!
I have been collecting the odd picture frame i see at a charity shop/carboot just for these occasions....
Ive chosen this 6x6" frame as it is a simple beading and still plain pine which i later will give a waxing.

Firstly i started with a sheet of plasticard cut to the size of the photo size then scribed a pavement effect to the first one and then on the second i went for a diagonal tile pattern, I did forget to take a picture of the pavement style but the process is the same.

Measured and marked out the pavement pattern but on the second went free hand/by eye then got scribing.
Next i primed them both grey then started the painting/weathering using multiple paint/washes sponges and here is the results....

The diagonal pavement style i added some of the first test pieces of 2mm grass tufts as i had them sat to one side even they were flatter it gives a squashed grass effect, well thats my excuse.
To make the grass tufts i used the (FlockBox) which can provide very good results with short or long grass, These were my very first attempt since then i have made much better ones.I definitely recommend the flockbox as it has so many uses!
