The Slovakian version looks pretty cool, I have the Weekend edition of that kit.

Thanks Tony! Apart from a Revell Tomcat that never appeared on here, it's my first public attempt at a post-war aircraft... So fingers crossed!

Made a start on this one, the cockpit is done just need to matt it down before installation.


Matching the Eduard pe colour was harder than expected. The Eduard colour call out is Mr Hobby Aqueous H46 Emerald Green. I also bought the Mig Ammo turquoise, but both were too green. So I used a 50:50 mix of Mr Hobby Aqueous H46 Emerald Green & H25 Sky Blue. I think the match is pretty good.





I've also done the wing undercarriage housings.

Coincidentally I am at roughly the same point. I got some time in the spray booth last night and painted the cockpit and primed the gear bays.
