This is what I use - the smaller holes are good for aircraft wheels

Thanks for clarifying that Patrick. I have ordered a very similar one from ebay.

Drove out to The shop in Onnomba FRI, felt obliged to purchase.

    Brought Tamiya Panther D.
Thanks Dave, that shop is usually very overpriced, though there are some good ones in there from time to time. Great kit that one, the Panther.

This should be the final update before completion. I have done up the decals, I have really weathered it a bit, not too much with Vallejo Acrylic Model Wash Light Grey. I also use Tamiya weathering master on the tracks - Sand and some Rust on the tools, with some soot as well on the exhaust.

I have also for the first time in my short modelling career attempted chipping, I did this with a sponge and some black and dark iron paint. I tried not to over do it, and only have it on the edges mostly. I hope it looks alright.

    Here are the photos

So yeah the chipping is a first time for me, I hope it looks alright. Next up is the final matte coat and some weathering over the decals to make them look in line with the rest of the tank. So I should have a completed post up soon.

I hope you all like it all comments welcome

Thanks Ian, we did have a long weekend here in Queensland, Australia so I pretty much used it all on this

Here are the final build pics, I matte coated it and weathered the decals up a bit. The completed post is up and the link is at the end of this post. There is also a video in HD of the kit rotating in the completed post ... so have a look.

Many more photos in the completed post which is here

I hope you all enjoyed the build as much as I did!
