I meant it shouldn't take all night to bleach the chrome off Robert

Would like to pick someone's brains as to making seat harness for a racing car. Think it's a 4 point release system?? I have a few ref pics but the easiest and most effective cost way of repro

              Any help ?

At that scale you could use a fabric material with wire buckles.

Where I am up to now

Well I've had a bit of a chance to do some work on the engine bay and surround and started to put in some aging to the engine bay, also looking through ref pics I've decided to coat the internal bays and interior a metallic gray ( I could have gone down the line of NMF but thought with size of vehicle and it end result this would be pointless

Painted calliper son brakes and wheels and also started on the leather racing wheel

Well I have to cut the leather into strips and then make buckles ( first time to make racing harness)

I also need to make a block where the harness attaches too.

The seat will need to be modified as well

This is what I'm attempting to replicate ( seat and harness

Hoping to get the wiring and piping finished tommorow too and fit the carburettor ( ten give a klear coat before weathering and oiling the engine up.
