    Patrick's Dragon Jagdpanzer A-O

Here's my entry, an old but gold one from Dragon.

    Brass schürzen, periscopes, metal barrel

    Tracks.... lots of them!

Made a start on the wheels - 18 roadwheels, 2 drive sprockets, 2 idlers & 8 return rollers... oh joy!

I should have suggested a STuG III GB

    Thanks for looking in

This is going to be something special indeed ( ohh yes I like the metal barrel too and periscopes )

What sort of colours are you aiming for, Ardennes?, and what units are available In the kit?

Looks a very nice in depth kit there Patrick

    Regards

Thanks Robert! I've had a test fit of the metal barrel & it's kinda wonky in the mantlet so I might go with the plastic barrel instead. It's a single piece slide moulded one so no worries about annoying seam lines

I have a bit of a plan for this one, out of necessity really. The kit represents one of the early pre-production versions - the rounded front of the casement gives it away.

Only a few were built & most went to training units, painted in plain Dunkelgelb. So I'm thinking of a vehicle that's being sent from its training billet to the front in the last month of WWII.

It'll have a quick respray in late war tri-camo... a good reason to try out my new Ammo by Mig paints

Thanks for all the interest peeps

                  A quick update

I've build up the lower hull & added Tamiya dark yellow as a undercoat/primer

Done the wheels - one thing I hate is sanding off the mould seam lines

Now to make a start on the upper hull

And by the power of Greyskull!

                  Thanks for looking in

Thanks Monica, yeah I use a circle template to keep the wheels as neat as possible.
