    Rik's 1970 Dodge Challenger Revell 1/25

This is my entry for the muscle car GB. Sorry about the poor pic quality but my poor ol' phone doesn't like artificial light at all.

The last pic is of a despatch sticky label which I'm thinking will be perfect for making white decals for the intended gloss black paint job.

There is still plenty of time for you to join in.

Update - Well, everything is now black. I haven't done any pics as there isn't much to see right now, just imagine all the sprue pics as negatives and you're there lol.

Well, did the best I can but the pics are very poor quality indeed.

The kit has 2 types of wheels, can't decide which I like most.

My phones auto focus is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.

Just in case you needed more proof.

That is one seriously good forum name indeed!

I think the blurring probably makes the engine look better than it really is right now. One thing I have done on the block which seems to work rather well is to paint it red then paint a quite thick coat of Tamiya X-27 clear red over it which has produced 2 pleasing effects. Firstly, because I slapped a load on, it has darkened the recesses and secondly, it has turned the block gloss as it should be.

Moni, your engine is the better one, it has a supercharger, mine only has a ram air scoop.

Test fitted the body, bonnet, chassis and engine. The engine is sitting a couple of mil higher than it will in the finished model.

I'm no camera expert but my phone takes far better pictures in daylight so I'm thinking I need better lighting???
