Neil's Airfix 1/72 Harrier GR7

Apologies for the late start, but here's my entry for the winter camo group build. Plan A is to turn the contents of the top picture into something resembling the bottom..... we'll see
Payday is tomorrow, so I might do a little shopping for a few extra bits, and I'm hoping to have my kit on a base similar to the above.
Here goes....
Cheers, Neil

Looking forward to seeing this one Neil. I really think the Harrier looks fantastic in the winter camo.

So, made a start! Am I right in thinking those are Hindenburg tanks?? Whatever they are they're flipping huge!!
I pulled the trigger on those bits, hopefully Mr Postman will be visiting tomorrow....
Cheers, Neil

So, finally got to make some progress with this. Not too much of see right now. The etch is for the Revell kit, so has taken ( and will take ) some fiddling to get right, but it's getting there at least!! One bad point I've noticed, the resin intakes that I got for this don't actually fit, they seem to come up slightly small, despite apparently being for this kit. That are a lot better than the kit items though, so I'll persevere with them.
The seat doesn't look much right now, but it's a lovely item, and hopefully will look a lot better once the etch etc is added.
Cheers, Neil
