John, Jim, Scottie, Paul, Steve - thanks.

Cutting it a bit fine today being the last day of the GB but it is finally complete after sitting for thirty odd years in the stash :smiling4:

So here we go, no particular order and some of them look very similar as I was just snapping away outside whilst the weather was reasonable, completion pictures:-

      Simon,
You have genuinely out done your self that is an exceptional build from the vehicle itself, the lean to and all the scratched items. The breeze blocks look very real. That is one to be proud of.

Simon, I love the way you hung the steering wheel from the side view mirror. I've actually seen that before in scale 1:1 ! The whole scene is as natural looking
as walking out into the neighborhood and looking across the street. My compliments!:thumb2::thumb2:
Cheers and Happy New Year, Rick H.

It's looking a lot like garages that my mates have, tools & parts everywhere! Cracking build.:thumb2:

            Hi Simon
Superbly done. So much interest everywhere you look. Not seen much more realistic than this.

Scottie - really enjoyed this one. Thank you

Rick - steering wheel over mirror, been there, done that which is why it seemed the right thing to do :smiling: Tried to get it looking believable so thank you very much

                Graeme - Cheers :thumb2:

Jim - thanks. A bit heavy handed with the rust pigment on the rear quarter but I couldn't get rid of it once on there :smiling: Start with less next time and build up if required. Having owned a string of rusty Minis has helped no end. The small piles of rust under the body for example are based on what happened on one of mine - each time I hit it rust fell off and collected in little piles just like that

Paul - thank you very much

Really enjoyed this one, thanks again for the positive comments & likes and happy new year to one and all

Just for completeness these are the initial photos that gave me the idea of the bird poo covered vehicle in a lean to building

Where to begin!! As Jim says this is as realistic as it gets as far as modelling goes. The photos are so life like its frightening. The level of detail is staggering. I usually run out of puff by the end of my builds but you still add jars with screws! Another point worth noting is your layout of the all the parts. So much realism is gained by putting all the parts in the right place. Outstanding!!

Absolutely superb Simon! If I had to criticise, I'd say the jack looks too clean, but maybe that's because mine is filthy!

Superb result Simon, love how all the tools, parts, boxes etc. make such a realistic setting…:thumb2::thumb2:

Very well done. I think you should send this to the Range Rover HQ, wherever that is now for them to use as a showroom model.
