Steve, Tim, Pete, Fernando, Si, John, John & Peter - thank you all very much for the positive comments, much appreciated

Tim - are you looking at the reference photos

Pete - my jack is pretty clean apart from the lifting end. Maybe that could have done with some old waxoil and rust :smiling:

Steve - yes, close but did actually finish on time

        Thanks

Back to work today so modelling will slow right down again

Brilliant mate, Mr T's auto parts really made me laugh.

I'm very late on this one Simon, but I'm glad I've seen it. One outstanding build with great skills.

Seriously I was going to give you at least a months delay before dropping by but to my surprise it's already done and dusted to meet the chequered flag. :flushed:

Well done Simon...it's a rare opportunity to see a finish from you lately but well worth the anticipation. I swear it looks like Ah Chong Servis Motor here in KL. :smiling2: I guess all small garages have the same look worldwide.

I like John B's suggestion to send this to the Range Rover's HQ...who owns it now? Went back again to go through the pages of the build...great thread to be marked for future reference If I need a garage idea to build.:thumb2:

                    Cheers,
                    Richard

I thought the new jack & welder were perfect for the new project. Excellent work here Simon. PaulE

                          Hi Steve

Very sadly Simon passed away about 18 months ago very unexpectedly. We held a 'tribute' GB in his memory not long after.

                          Andrew

                            Steve,
SimonT passed away in late 2020 - sadly missed - it doesn't always work out, replying to posts over 3 years old

Simon is sadly missed but looking at the thread another member Ross is also visibly absent. Did he decide not to become a member when the subscription fee kicked in?

                                Cheers,
