I've read somewhere that if you heat them gently (open flame I think), not too much, mind you. This will soften the metal and allow you to shape it more easily.o_O

There are also sticky sticks or something like that, that have a tacky end to pick up small PE bits. Too tacky and they are a pig to use.

The tip of a wet paintbrush works just as well

OK I'll have another go but don't be surprised if I'm reduced to tears.

The brass work continues I only do a couple of bits then have a break so it's taking a while

I think all the brass is about done but I'll have a break and get the last of the plastic bits on then a coat of primer to see all my naff glue marks then sanding.

Well I think all the sticking is done bar track building o_O . This will be a first painting a completely built model I normally paint sub assemblies and then put it together for weathering it should prove interesting.

Just seen this one coming along nicely and I used to live in Kent and on one of the roundabouts in Ashford they had one of these.

Thanks but I'm sure the undercoat will reveal all.

A quick blow over with primer has proved quite successful this morning it turns out there's minimal clean up. Now to decide on colours.

Base coat done I know it's not the best coverage and a self mixed colour but I just needed it green to start.
