Actually, with that on it, yours would be easier to park as anything in the way quickly wouldn't be!

A little more work on the blade, some filling just to tidy up. Went together that nice i could get it to work, but i glued it all up so i can't play with it later hehe.

Thought it was time to start the hull. Turning out to be a nice kit, so why it's been in the stash for so many years is anyones guess lol. Next will be adding all the detail to the hull then it's onto the turret.

A little more work on the Chally today, love how the side armor went together. I'm replacing all the grab handles only because it looks better, and the drive sprockets needed a lot of cleaning up. But i'm enjoying the build.

I've had a silly idea too, and Wendy (the wife) loves it. Nine times out of ten the Royal Tank Regiment named their tanks so when this one it painted i will be putting "Ghost 1942" on the side of the turret. Ghost 1942 was my Dads username on the Army Rumour Service, and i think it'll be a nice gesture.

              Have fun, John

Few more pics of the Chally, started adding mud on the blade and hopfuly it'll look okay when painted and weathered. I did however build the front armor and what i've done is made new lugs for it, so if i fancy a change i can just clip it on.

                    Have fun, John

Nice work on the PE, John.
I'm sure the mud will look more than fine once painted

Hi all, had a very busy day modelling yesterday and i've now got something that looks like a Chally. Only had one problem and that was one of the mirror post snapped on the sprue. Made some new ones for both but laid them down so i could get the turret on, as you can see from the pics if i left them upright the gun barrel would have took them out lol.

Whats next, the wheels and that really big 120mm L30A1 sniper rifle, Then hopfuly it'll be onto paint, and it just so happens i ordered a new compressor for the airbrush. The one i use is for 1/1 scale and thought it was time to get one thats wife friendly.

                          Have fun, John

Getting very close to using my new compressor and getting some paint on this beauty, don't want it to finish though. It's been a very enjoyable build so far, this is where i'm up to. Tracks and wheels are on but can come off for paint, some more bar armour to go on then i've got to find some figures from the spares box.

                                Have fun, John
