My first reaction on seeing the picture of the Beowulf was "Ooh that's nice".  I'll look forward to seeing this go together.  Who is the manufacturer?

Well here's my nightmare for the build...

Oh and the tank is AFV Clubs 1 35 Scimitar!

Me thinks it might take longer than a year!  O.o

                        Hi Ian
I know I'm not in this running this time as 1 I'm not a ship builder as such ( just yet ) but I'm going to start shortly my own battleship HMS Rodney 1/700 with all the additional PE ( I hope to make a good effort ) when it all arrives
This will be my first ever ship build and I've been in contact with Fenlander and he's been more than helpful in getting me started with ideas etc etc.
If I may I may be asking for the odd help here and there and I'm also hoping I can count on the odd shipbuilder for advice
I'll do my own thread build etc not attached to this
Just to say that this time I'm not there but next time maybe

                        Regards

                        Robert

I'm afraid I can't commit to buying, or, for that matter building such a big project, so I'm gonna duck out of this and join the Diorama GB, where I can do a small project. Circumstances have led to me having a bit less time this year, and a little dio is managable! I will still be watching with great interest, particulalrly that big bugger of yours, Ian!
