Looking forward to seeing what you do with this. I bought a card HMS Belfast last year but I cannot find it! No idea where I put it but it will turn up I hope. Just worried it got thrown out with some old magazines but I don't think it did.

Good luck with the build and millions of pictures please

right first update of the build. as requested have taken lots of photos if I am putting to many on please let me know

picture is the first page cut out ready for gluing. of all the knives I have I found the safety razor blade the easiest to control for the cutting. as for gluing the thin lines I used a old oil bottle from my e-vapour oils works quite well.

then inserted the cross sections had to make small cuts so it sat correctly.

next was the lower part of the deck bit fiddly as you had to get the spine and cross sections to in the cuts made (starting to look like a ship)

                              Looking great,
I started building a Virginia 1819 Artesania Latina - Scale 1:41 last year and got a bit stuck on planking, instructions are not great.
I have got what tools I think I need to start so here it a few pictures, I dried fixed before gluing. My next job is the decking planks, I need to look up how to do that first to get the best results.

Building these models take real skill that looks like you have, hope to pick it up again when I have the space.
