this kit from the start has impressed me thinking it was just cut and glue. Then they came along with the base for the turrets the white sections to the right are three disc's. Glue the smaller one in position place the deck in over then glue other disc on top. by doing this it now means the turrets will rotate once completeComment

here are the side, hatches and anchors placed the parts on white paper and next to a ruler to see how small it is. then all glued in to positionComment

Hi all been a long time for a up date but now have a few more pics
I missed a few photos of the stern gun mounts sorry
in these photos the gun mounts and side rails have been made and glued in place

here the anchor slide and under side for the turrets are in place

this part was not clear in the instructions looking at how it was set out it was 2 different part for the model. but I found out that it needs to be doubled over so the part is black on both sides. then punched a small hole through the centre then glued under the machine gun decks

I merged the four posts into one, but it messed the photos up so I edited them back in again. Hope I got them in the right places.

had a few day to do a bit more to the ship
next step was the navigation deck decided not to color the nave light going to treat the wife to chocolates with the different wrappers and pinch a green and red one to make it look like glass

then the forward capstan bit fiddle as the widest point was only 5mm

glued in place but the main spine of the ship makes it slanted GRRRR

now the rest of ladders put in place. the lazer cut extras are good but i think next time i will use the provided ladders because it is next to impossible to get the rungs straight as they only measure 2mm by 3mm. as you can see it in the photos. did use the provided ladders for the forecastle

sorry for the long time for the update but the wife has got me building a nursery instead of my models lol
first up date was the pain in the back side small boxes measuring form 2mm to 5mm forming a lot of the upper deck

second update is a navigation deck with the first mast put in place. as the mast was flimsy i used fuse wire running through the middle to git it a bit more stability

More updates soon when the wife allows me to pmslComment
