My mate Tony gave me this kit so I thought I'd join in with it.

Nice one Ian, its not 1/48 though ,its 1/32. I built this one as a kid and remember it hanging from my ceiling and thinking how good it looked with the massive snake down the side! Its not a bad kit at all , might just need the rivets knocking back a little ,although the real thing was covered in them the kit ones might be a bit too prominent. cheers tony

I thought it was a little on the large size for 1/48 Tony. I should really look at the instructions, silly old me.
Any way this one is not going to look too neat when completed. That's all I'm going to say.

Nice One Ian. How Tony saw the scale on that one I have no idea. Just for info, Revell have done the one with the snake in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32.

Made a start on this, got the tub started anyway, RLM 02 should be the colour if that's right.

Also started to make the damage on one of the wings.

Ive sanded the tip of the wing so I can make some damage after the thing is painted and decals on. As you can see you can read the instructions through it.
