    Jasons 1/48 Eduard Bicentennial Phantom

I'd like to enter this into the GB. Not sure which scheme I'll do yet although I'm leaning towards the box art. Should be fun, plenty of resin and PE to mess about with...
Just got to clear one off the bench and I shall make a start.

    Jason

It looks nice. Lots of bits to add and more than a few decals.

                    Hi All,
Been plodding along with it and now it's ready for primer. Decided on a load out as well.
The only criticism so far is the intakes, they're a bit fiddly to line up and there's a dirty great seam visible inside them.
                    Hopefully it'll get primed today

I think the intakes are a common PITA on all these kits Jason - same on my one.

It's a real shame Patrick because the rest of the kit fits like a dream. I did look at some seamless resin ones but couldn't really justify the cost atm.

Pretty standard problem with nearly every Phantom kit from what I've seen.

Great work so far Jason, coming along nicely.

Coming along nicely mate. I'll be making the same kit when I get sometime. Looking forward to seeing the progress.

Quick update. Progress has been pretty slow grabbing an hour here and there.
And I had been putting off masking the blue stripe.

Exhaust cans and heat shield next.

                              Thanks for looking
